Considering I am from a limited income family and grew up on a very isolated island,
I have been extremely lucky to have traveled across the mainland and in Europe. Almost all of it I have
done through college with internships and the school's study abroad program.
I first left Hawaii to move to Washington state to live with a friend. After a while
I moved back to Hawaii and started going to UH-Manoa. I did an internship during one summer in Washington DC at the
Dept of Commerce and visited New York City while I was there. I transferred to UNLV later and went to Madrid, Spain
for two semesters on their study abroad program where I also visited Paris, France and spent two weeks traveling
around Italy. I went to Florence, Piza, Rome, Naples, Pompeii, and Venice. After I graduated from UNLV, I did
an internship at Disney World in Florida for one semester.
